EigenSoft is led by Chinmay Mungi — a published spatial statistician with applied work across public health and analytics. We founded the studio to do the kind of slow, careful, technically dense work that doesn't fit cleanly inside a venture-funded company that needs to grow 3× a year.

Our practice is anchored in spatial statistics — modelling where things happen and why — and extends to the broader machinery that surrounds it: data infrastructure, applied machine learning, automation, and on-prem AI. The same rigor that goes into a peer-reviewed spatial model goes into the production systems we ship.

MS in Biostatistics, University of Texas. Bachelor's in Mathematical Economics, Colorado College. Published spatial-statistics research and several years of applied work in public health analytics before founding EigenSoft.

We design and ship specialized software products — like AutoStamp PDF for Indian mutual fund distributors. We consult on hard analytical problems for manufacturers, insurers, and public-health organizations. And we train teams on the tools and techniques we deploy in our own work.
