These terms govern your use of eigensoft.in and the software products and consulting/training services offered through it. By using the site or buying a product, you agree to these terms.

Who we are

EigenSoft is a sole proprietorship operated by Chinmay Mungi, based in India. References to "we", "us", and "our" mean EigenSoft.

License — software products

When you buy one of our software products (e.g., AutoStamp PDF), you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it on the platforms specified, for your own commercial or personal use. You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the software.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify it for redistribution.
• Remove or alter copyright or license notices.

Updates and bug fixes are included for 12 months from purchase. After that, the version you own continues to work — there's no kill switch.

Consulting and training services

Consulting and training engagements are governed by a separate written statement of work (SOW) signed by both parties. These terms set the baseline; the SOW controls where it differs.

Refunds

See the Refund Policy. In short: software products are refundable within seven days, no questions asked. Consulting and training fees are governed by the relevant SOW.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of any product or service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the previous twelve months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Acceptable use

Don't use our products or services to break the law, infringe rights, or harm others. We reserve the right to terminate access for misuse.

Changes

We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above will reflect that. Material changes will be communicated to active customers by email.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction where the proprietor is based.
